Beautiful property with nice view, good quality room and service and close to the main market. The breakfast spread was too good. Their Sri Lankan breakfast is a must try.

I stayed at Cubes for 2 nights and had a fantastic experience! The manager and staff were super friendly and always ready to help. Their morning Sri Lankan breakfast was absolutely superb, and on request they even arranged tuk-tuks for us, which made traveling around really convenient. The rooms were clean, and the overall environment was calm and relaxing, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for comfort, great hospitality, and a truly local touch!

Sehr gemütliches Hotel in einer recht ruhigen Gegend unweit von Ella. Will man in die Stadt oder Umgebung kann man dies gemütlich über den Hotelservice per Tuktuk tun. Die Zimmer sind groß, gut ausgestattet und bieten eine schöne Sicht auf den Berg und die Landschaft. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das äußerst gastfreundliche und herzliche Personal, welches eine familiäre Wohlfühlatmosphäre schafft. Sehr zu empfehlen ist außerdem das Essen - geschmacklich bekommt man eine solche Menge zu dem Preis nichtmal in das Restaurants von Ella! Super!

This review is long overdue. I stayed in The Cubes Ella in July 2024 and had a wonderful stay. The rooms were nice, neat and cozy and the staff - absolutely friendly and wonderful. You have a decent view from the rooms and it's not too far from Ella Town. Will be definitely visiting this place again soon and if you are looking nice place to relax in Ella and unwind a bit. The Cubes Ella is the place. Highly recommended.

Wij kwamen hier 's avonds eten en het was perfect! Heel lekker eten, heel correcte prijzen (goedkoper dan in het centrum van Ella), erg net en trendy restaurant (met zicht op de keuken, wat de hygiene en het vers bereiden van de maaltijden toont). Heel vriendelijke bediening. Wij zouden zeker terugkomen!

Just a short distance away from Ella (I,chose to walk which took just under 30 minutes) this hotel was the perfect place to stay. The owners were professional and polite and remembered me and my room number. The rooms were lovely and spacious with a balcony to catch some sun and watch the sunsets. The food was some of the best I tasted during my stsy in Sri Lanka, the sandwiches were insane Highly recommend this place and this would be my preferred place of stay if I returned to Ella

Very nice hotel with nice and spacious rooms. The owner and his staff are very helpful and cater to your every needs whether it's recommendations for places to visit, transport or nearby activities. The restaurant is really good with great food ranging from traditional sri Lankan dishes to wester cuisine, portions are very generous and the prices more than reasonable. The only downside is the lack of a pool and that it's a little further away from the center, but tuk tuks are available for around 1000lkr so it's fine. We felt very welcomed and taken care of the entire time and can highly recommend this great place.

Habitaciones muy limpias, servicio muy atento y mucha tranquilidad para escapar del bullicio de la calle principal de Ella. Al principio tenia mis dudas sobre si coger un hotel que estuviera algo alejado, pero reconozco que fue una idea acertada.
